Current NextSeq reagents enable up to 120 Gb of output with 400 M sequencing reads in high output mode and 2 x 150 bp read lengths.

The PacBio RS II is a Single Molecule, Real-Time (SMRT®) DNA Sequencing System that provides the highest consensus accuracy and longest read lengths of any available sequencing technology. SMRT Sequencing is ideal for de novo assembly, characterization of genetic variation, methylation analysis, microbiology studies. The real-time nature of the PacBio RS II enables quick runs generally lasting from 30 minutes to three hours. The latest chemistry can produce average reads of 13 Kb with the longest reads being up to 40 kb depending on the quality of the sample. The output estimated be approximately 1 Gb per SMRT cell.

Library Preparations for the Illumina based sequencing platforms are prepared using the Sciclone NGS Workstation, which is the most flexible, compact and capable automated solution for high-throughput sequencing sample preparation. Built on the Sciclone G3 platform, the NGS Workstation offers a complete benchtop solution for library prep, sequence capture, and normalization. Automation of the library preparation procedure allows for a more rapid workflow with a minimized risk of human error.
